§ 1.1 The Supremacy of Empirical Evidence

Every finding, debunk, article, teardown, and field report published by DeGhost must be anchored in measurable, falsifiable, and reproducible evidence. We reject conjecture, hearsay, unverified anecdotes, and sensationalized speculation.

§ 1.3 Radical Open Science & Public Data Commons

All sensor telemetry, infrared logs, sound frequency recordings, chemical analyses, source code, and mathematical models generated during DeGhost investigations must be made freely accessible to the global public under open licenses whenever safe and legally sound. We do not maintain proprietary “black box” claims.

§ 1.4 Non-Dogmatism & Intellectual Humility

Science is an iterative journey of discovery. No scientific theory or consensus within DeGhost shall be treated as an immutable dogma. If newer, superior, peer-reviewed empirical evidence contradicts our prior conclusions, DeGhost is bound to update its stance immediately and gracefully.

§ 2.1 The Separation Doctrine: Action vs. Individual

“In every circumstance, stand against an action, a deception, a harmful claim, or an unscientific practice, but never attack, demean, or dehumanize the individual human being.”

Our target is the error in reasoning, the scam mechanism, the predatory marketing, or the physical distortion. We reject all forms of personal vilification, cyber-mobbing, doxxing, or character assassination.

§ 2.2 Intellectual Empathy for Believers and Victims

Belief in ghosts, miracles, or pseudoscientific therapies often originates from deep grief, wonder, evolutionary cognitive biases, or desperate vulnerability. DeGhost staff and community members shall never laugh at, mock, or belittle individuals who have fallen victim to falsehoods.

We explain the science like a compassionate educator, not like a prosecutor scoring points.

§ 2.3 Absolute Prohibition of Smug Skepticism

DeGhost explicitly forbids “dunking,” sarcasm-laden meme warfare, and condescending arrogance. Skepticism without warmth is cynicism; science communication without empathy is vanity.

§ 3.2 Anti-Bullying, Anti-Harassment & Anti-Trolling Enforcement

DeGhost social channels (WhatsApp community, Discord server, article discussions, research repositories, and internal teams) are rigorously protected spaces. Any member, contributor, or staff member engaging in intimidation, gaslighting, targeted harassment, stalking, hate speech, or malicious trolling shall be immediately suspended and subjected to disciplinary expulsion.

§ 3.3 Universal Access to Inquiry

Scientific curiosity is a fundamental human right. DeGhost welcomes credentialed university professors, working engineers, independent journalists, students, and everyday curious citizens with equal respect. No question asked in earnest curiosity shall ever be dismissed as foolish.

§ 4.1 The Fallibility Principle

Science is not the state of being infallible; it is the discipline of catching and correcting errors. DeGhost recognizes that despite multi-disciplinary verification, errors of fact, calculation, translation, or attribution may occur.

§ 4.3 Prohibition of Silent Deletions (Permanent Errata)

DeGhost strictly bans silent edits, unannounced article purges, or covert alterations. When a publication is corrected or retracted, a prominent Errata Box with full timestamps, original text diffs, and editor reasoning must remain visible permanently at the head of the publication.

§ 5.1 Corrupt-Free Social & Scientific Community

DeGhost enforces a strict anti-bribery and anti-extortion code. No investigator, editor, volunteer, or board member may accept money, gifts, equity, privileged access, or favors in exchange for initiating, altering, suppressing, or expediting any investigation or debunk.

§ 5.2 Absolute Editorial & Investigative Independence

DeGhost operates under HarVa Groups with full editorial autonomy. No donor, corporate partner, academic institution, or commercial advertiser possesses the right to preview, edit, or veto any DeGhost finding before or after publication.

§ 5.3 Mandatory Conflict of Interest (COI) Disclosures

Prior to participating in any investigation (e.g., testing a commercial EMF detector, reviewing a health device, or analyzing a media production), all researchers and authors must sign a formal Conflict of Interest disclosure. Anyone with direct or indirect financial ties to the subject must recuse themselves from analysis.

§ 6.1 Lawful & Ethical Field Investigation Protocols

When conducting physical sleuthing (e.g., inspecting alleged “haunted” heritage buildings, acoustic anomaly sites, or questionable gadget laboratories), DeGhost teams must strictly abide by local property laws, obtain lawful permissions, wear appropriate safety gear, and cause zero physical or environmental disturbance.

§ 6.2 Whistleblower & Source Anonymity Safeguards

Individuals who provide internal evidence, whistleblowing documents, or witness statements exposing fraudulent devices, fake medical clinics, or occult extortion schemes are guaranteed absolute confidentiality under strict journalistic privilege. DeGhost will resist any external attempt to compromise protected sources.

§ 6.3 Four-Discipline Verification Standard

No high-stakes debunk or investigative report may be published without review across four pillars:

§ 7.1 Equality Before Constitutional Law

Every officer, director, founder, researcher, and volunteer is equally bound by this Constitution. No position of leadership confers immunity from ethics reviews, public apology requirements, or disciplinary action.

§ 7.2 The Volunteer Bill of Rights

DeGhost is built on the voluntary dedication of lawyers, journalists, engineers, scientists, and citizens who give their time for a more honest world. All volunteers are entitled to:

• Proper, prominent attribution and byline credit for their research contributions.
• A safe, welcoming, and respectful collaborative environment free from exploitation.
• The absolute right to pause, adjust, or discontinue their volunteer engagement at any time without penalty.
• Access to direct escalation channels to the Founder and Ethics Committee.

§ 7.3 Due Process & Grievance Redressal

Any allegation of constitutional violation, harassment, bullying, or corruption shall be evaluated through an objective, confidential, and evidence-driven inquiry. The accused individual is guaranteed a fair opportunity to respond, and remedies shall prioritize truth, restoration, and safety.

§ 8.2 Intellectual Property & Open Access Licensing

Unless otherwise specified, all original research papers, datasets, and investigative essays authored by DeGhost are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) license. Educational sharing and fair attribution are encouraged; commercial monetization of our research without written authorization is prohibited.

§ 8.3 Good-Faith Publication & Safe Harbor

All findings are investigated and published in good faith, based on the best empirical data, physical measurements, and source materials available at the time of publication. DeGhost reserves the right to revise, annotate, or expand upon findings as new evidence emerges.

§ 9.1 Amendment Procedure

To maintain institutional stability while allowing progress, amendments to this Constitution require a formal two-thirds supermajority consensus among DeGhost's lead advisors, followed by a 30-day public comment period.

The Immutable Clauses: The core tenets of Article I (Scientific Rigor & Religious Neutrality), Article II (Action vs. Individual), Article III (Zero Tolerance on Discrimination & Bullying), Article IV (Mandatory Public Apologies for Errors), and Article V (Corrupt-Free Integrity) can NEVER be repealed or compromised.
